I enjoy designing and making toys. Sometimes it's just nice to depart from 2D images and create something tactile that you can hold in your hand!The little platypus on the left was crocheted, felted and hand stitched. The body is a tetrahedron.
This flat doll was appliqued and embroidered by hand.In the next couple of months I am going to design and make some marionettes - those puppets that you pull the string to move the limbs. I just need to come up with an idea for good set of characters.
